Upgrading 14.00 clients hang on "in progress"

Hello we are upgrading our clients 14.00 and 14.10 to 15.10 by pushing the upgrade from PM

Most of then hang on "in progress". We are using Linux PMProxies on these remote locations.

What logs can we check (client and PM Proxy) to find information on what is going wrong?

Thanks

Klaas

    Hello Klaas,

    First of all, please, don't use "Push install to Windows hosts" for clients, on which the product is already installed.

    Use "upgrade" link in "Installed products summary" instead.

    In c:\ProgramData\F-Secure\Log\BusinessSuite\fs_pm_support.u.log on the client machine you can find out if the upgrade operation had reached the client. Example:

    2020-11-11 09:39:48.327 [10a4.1970]  I: fs::pmsupport::InstallationHandler::downloadFile::<lambda>: Download of file 'C:\ProgramData\F-Secure\BusinessSuite\Packages\1367982044403.jar' from url: 'https://your_pm_address/installation/operation/1367982044403' postponed

    ...

    2020-11-11 09:42:20.214 [136c.1054] I: fs::pmsupport::InstallationHandler::onPackageInstalled: Succeeded install operation: 1367982044403

    Successful upgrade MSI logs are stored in c:\ProgramData\F-Secure\Msi\

    In case MSI installation was interrupted unexpectedly, the log can be found in Windows %temp% folder.

    Best regards,

    Vad
