F-Secure Client Security prompts error "Policy.bpf does not pass signature verification check" - WithSecure Community

<p>I have installed the latest version of F-Secure Policy Manager and distributed the latest software version. Now I get the following error message from the clients: F-Secure Management Agent: The file failed the signature check.<br></p><pre class="code codeBlock" spellcheck="false" tabindex="0"><br>C:\Program Files (x86)\F-Secure\Common\CommDir\policies\policy.bpf</pre>
The file may have been changed manually. If the problem persists, contact the system administrator.
<h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3>
<p>The Policy Manager Server<b> </b>is using the <b>admin.pub</b> file for installation and sending policies. If the <b>admin.pub</b> of the Policy Manager Server and the Workstation is not the same, then the <b>policy.bpf signature verification</b> will fail.<br><br>To solve the issue, simply <b>reinstall</b> the Client Security on the affected workstation. If the issue occurs on a large number of workstations, kindly contact F-Secure Support.</p>
