1.We are enabling External Device (Such as External HDD) through the Device Control Policy in F-Secure Policy Manager Server by giving Device Instance Path for eg. USB\VID_152D\PID_2509\2H3Z4KY(Sl No of Device).
2. When any unathorised device is inserted on the client pc, alert comes with the details of VID/PID and Sl no of the device which is nice for us to monitor for unathorised uses of external device.
3. But in some case the Sl no of the device was shown as 5&46ffa69&0&13 ie after VID/PID i.e USB\VID_152D\PID_2509\5&46ffa69&0&13.
4. Please clearify that such type of sl no is generated by the windows or by the device.
