External connections from F-Secure Servers

Hi!

We get a lot of connection attempts from several F-Secure Servers on several Ports:

217.110.97.195 try on Ports 65462; 50372 to connect to our Firewall

217.110.97.146 try on Ports 50393; 50391 and so on.

Whats the reason for this connects?

We are using F-Management Console 10 and about 130 Clients

    Problem maybe solved!

     

    Clients connect directly do the Updateserver, instead of the Managment Server

    Hi,

     

    good you found the reason, but still your firewall needs to be looked into.

    it allows the outbound packet but blocks the returned answer?!

     

    Either block the complete traffic or let it go.

     

    Let it go would rather be the right way as you need to configure ORSP-Servers to reachable. More details here:

    The address ranges are the same for ORSP and Update servers.
