MAC - Standalone installation of F-secure client security

I've followed the installation guide how to install client security for MAC (version 13).

Everything worked perfect:

- upgraded to policy manager to version 13.x

- imported the jar

- exported to dmg. During the export I provided the  license key, and policy manager setting. No other setting were possible (big difference to win client)

- installed dmg on mac

- imported the new host in policy manager

My questions: how can I install a client which won't connect to the policy manager? What happens if a client can't connect to the policy manager (is virus definition updating?)

    Hello,

I would recommend using "F-Secure PSB" on those corporate Win / Apple laptops which don't connect to company HQ regularly, as well any work-related Android based mobile devices.

Thanks. Seems this is a separate product from the business suite.

I will set up VPN for such clients, maybe that will be enough for the client security.
