Hi

Is it ok to delete C:\Program Files (x86)\F-Secure\FSAUS.PM\data\db since it consumes about 33GB and server is running out of space.

Thanks

I have the same problem since a server reboot last week. (PM v12 not 13)

I even had to expand the virtual disk with 10Gb and it still keeps filling it, erasing, filling again etc.

there are some folders untouched since october/november eating up 16Gb of space.

    can this be deleted manually?

folder data can be seen below, notice that the last folder is now 5Gb it was 12Gb a few minutes ago and should start filling again till it gets near full disk (still 8Gb free now)

    Hello asanka, GVB

AUS should clean old content automatically according to the schedule specified in server.cfg, property daily_maintenance_time. By default, every 30 minutes.

Could you please check c:\Program Files (x86)\F-Secure\FSAUS.PM\log\log for possible reasons?

The easiest workaround is to reinstall (or upgrade) Policy Manager - it will properly clean AUS DB content.

Apparently it didn't but kept downloading, removing data all day.

I stopped the policy manager server and the update server service.

Moved those old folder to a NAS

    And started it again

now it's a lot more stable and no constant data writing and removing.

I also see that the up to date clients jumped from 0-1.5% to 60% already.

It seems that the clients couldn't catch up with updates the last week because of these constant data removals?

I'm now upgrading the PM to v13.

Unfortunately if AUS DB is cleaned, clients download full update version in order to get back in sync with AUS.

This behavior was changed with 13th series by moving to new GUTS2 update delivery protocol and updates versions do not depend on local AUS versions any more. GUTS2 clients do not redownload full versions in case of switching from one update source to another and always try to operate with diffs.
