ERROR INVALID SERVER CERTIFICATE

hi to all

 

We have configured new linux policy manager server version 12.40.

 We are trying to report one windows client to the new linux policy manger server . But the client is taking the definition updates from the policy manager server but not reporting to the policy manager console. when we see the log there one error ouccered 

error as invalid sever certificate .

please advise

Hi ravi12,

Sorry for late reply. Client uses admin.pub as share secret to trust Policy Manager. If you are installing new Policy Manager instance from scratch and wish to connect “old” clients there, you have to export admin.pub/admin.prv key pair from the old PM and import it to the new one.
