Issues accessing C$ Admin shares on some systems

Hi There,

 

I am getting inconsistent result when trying to access C$ shares on our CS V13.10 Windows 7 machines.

 

I can access a fair number of C$ Adin shares fine using an administrator account.

 

However, there are a number of systems where accessing the C$ fails. If I then disable the F-Secure firewall – I can access the C$ share.

 

All the systems are in same F-Secure Policy group using the same firewall rules, so we do not understand why accessing C$ works on some systems but not on others?

 

We even get the issues with some systems being accessing via the C$ ok & other “failing” on the same subnet – so it does not seem network related – more something “different” on the “failed” access systems?

 

Has anyone else seen this?
