Turning off the pop-up after the program update
Hello,
I have a question about the pop-ups displayed after each update of programs such as firefox, opera.
After each program update, application control reports that that is unknown and that as an administrator, I must allow or block access for such an application each time. I understand that for security reasons it looks like this.
I would like to make such configurations after each application update:
1. The administrator did not have to release the application, e.g. Firefox from the table of unknown applications.
2. The user did not have to allow the application to access the internet every time

I did not write about what product it is about. I would like to do such configurations in Policy Manager Console

Hello Tyczyn,
Unfortunately, in current versions it's not possible to specify safe software vendors for Application control. You can tune the scenario you described, but it will affect all unknown applications.
To do this open Policy Manager Console > Settings (Advanced view) > F-Secure> F-Secure Internet Shield> Application control, and set the following policies as you wish:
- Action on unknown outbound application
- Action on unknown inbound application
- Report to Administrator
Best regards,
Vad
