Hello Agrar,

 

In Policy Manager console > Settings (Standard view) > Software Updater tab you can tune Software updater to install patches automatically or manually. The list from your screenshot can be used for manual patching. "Configure Software Updater" link leads to detailed tuning page.

I have checked enable software updater

Download software updates from policy manager => if possible

Section automatic installation

install security updates automatically => all

install every => day

restart after installation => ask user

force restart in 365 days 23 hour 59 min 59 sec

 

 

 As I do understand you then every software of the previous list in screenshot is installed automatically?

According to category, all patches on screenshot are security patches, so, yes, all of them should be installed automatically.

But, please, note, that if restart was requested after the daily automatic patching round, new round will not start until the machine restart will take place.

If for some reason the installation of a patch fails, that installation will be repeated next patching round (in my case the following day at 13:00)? Just want to find out if everything runs automatic, that if that isn't the case what I manually have to do.

My boss asks if it is possible to add extra software to be updated by F-Secure.

In our country we have EID software (to read information of the chip on our identity card) which changes regularly, software we created ourselfs.
