F-Secure for Salesforce. Does it take information outside of the instance to process?

I am working on a government project and we are planning to install F-Secure as part of the solution alongwith Salesforce. The government as you can expect has strict rules around not taking data outside of the country. Would F-Secure as par of its scanning for malicious content process data outside of the country?
