Malicious code found in file. The file was quarantined
Hello,
Im getting this alert:
I just upgraded my client to 14.10 and i never said anything about automatically putting a file in quarantine. In real time scanning i also have this file added to exclusions.
Can someone tell me how to solve this?

How did you define the exclusion?
What does the exclusion look like on the host?Beside the question if the exclusion works or not there is automatic action defined.
Depending on various parameters F-Secure decides if the file (likely a new one) could be dangerous and will automatically quarantine it.

Hello,
Report the case to F-Secure virus lab and if it is indeed a false alarm, they will add the exclusion centrally through a virus recognition datase update:

I made an exclusion of the full path in the section real-time scanning > Files and applications excluded from scanning.
Is there another way than to upload it? Cant i just say dont automatically quarantine this file. In the previous version of f-secure (v13.11) this didnt happen

Update: i released it from the quarantine section. That seems to solve it for the moment
