F secure spinning wheel and Mac

I am a computer noob so it may be a stupid question, but:

I have F secure client security for Mac. But I cant seem to start it properly. The icon is in the top right corner as if it is running. But when holding the cursor over it I get the spinning wheel and can do nothing.

When I try to start it from the applications folder nothing happens.

What do I do?
