WithSecure Elements and Multi-Factor Authentication
Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is a security measure that adds an extra layer of authentication to the login process of systems. WithSecure Elements supports MFA. When a user logs in to a system with their username and password, these credentials may have already been compromised. With MFA, an additional step is needed to confirm that the account is actually owned by the person trying to log in. WithSecure recommends enabling MFA for all login-based services to increase security.
