Hi Team,
currently, when Network Location Settings are enabled in WithSecure EPP, users are unable to change the firewall profile locally. Even if the "open lock" icon is shown in the UI (suggesting the profile can be changed), the setting remains locked when it is managed through a network location.
Customer Request:
A customer would like to have the option to manually override the firewall profile on the endpoint, even when a Network Location is active - for example, for temporary testing or troubleshooting purposes. This could be handled through a local override option or a more granular permission setting.
Benefit:
Provides more flexibility for administrators and end users, especially in support or troubleshooting scenarios, while maintaining default centralized control via Network Location Settings.
Suggestion:
Enhance the "open lock" feature to allow local changes in specific situations (e.g., when permitted by policy) even if a Network Location is applied.
