F-secure 9.31 exported msi package from PM server gives error when installing -error 1722

Hi,

 

I recently download f-secure 9.31 jar file and created msi packgae using policy manager server. Now when try to install clients manually, set up does not finish successfully and gives following error.

 

"Product: F-Secure Client Security -- Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.  Action RunILauncher, location: C:\Program Files\F-Secure\FSMSI\ilwrap.exe, command: fsc_jar.jar /U /F /RSmiley FrustratedOFTWARE\Data Fellows\F-Secure\ILauncher /C

what can I  do for properly create msi packgae

    Hello thenu,

     

    One possible reason is that you have a conflicting product installed on affected hosts.

    To check this, please, try to run Client Security 9.31 exe installer on one of affected hosts, and see if any conflicting product is detected.

    If yes, you'll need to remove it manually in order to complete msi installation successfully.

    You could also try reinstalling the software without any other programs running except those in background. image
