Remote-Installation of CS won´t start on client

Hi,

 

first let me say that I am quite new  to the F-Secure AV solution. I used the FSPM to remotely install FSAV on multiple machines and now have seen that FSCS offers more possibilities so I initiated another installation replacing FSAV.

 

This worked fine on most machines, but on one (Win XP) the installation simply won´t start. Though, the machine is normally connecting to the FSPM: I can see the "last connection" details are recent, it is shown as having the latest policy, and it is shown as "connected".

 

I have rebooted multiple times.

I noticed that when I deploy the new policy this host is instantly (or better still) shown as having the newest policy while all the others are shown as not recent, what I think seems not possible.

 

"FSMAUTIL.exe poll" -> ok

 

What could be the reason for this?

What should I do now?

FSAV/FSCS 9.11

FSPM 10.00

 

Client: Win XP SP3

Server: Windows SBS 2003 SP2

Hmm, seems the problem was a misconfigured PM URL with an incorrect port. Still don´t know why the installation then worked on all the other clients...

either this is a matter of "cosmic radiation" (as Peter pointed in an other thread)

or the problem was somethimng else.

 

Is it working now?
