Antivirus for Workstation for Windows 8

Hi all,

 

Does anyone know when Client Security 10 is expected to be released? Will there be a version of Anti-virus for Workstation release together? Do I have to install Policy Manager to use them?

    Hello Martin,

     

    Client Security 10.00 is now released and available for download at Partner Portal:

    https://partnerportal.f-secure.com/en_GB/partners

    Anti-virus for Workstations 10.00 will be released in the nearest future (one - two weeks).

    You will need to use Policy Manager 10.10 together with this releases.

    Hello,

     

    Please consider that FSCS 10.00 has a bug in web protection, at least on the Windows XP platform.

     

    F-Secure Corp. is promising to deliver a fix soon and after that, it should be good to go.

    Hello,

     

    The problem with FSCS 10.00 on WinXP has since been repaired via an automatically downloaded F-Secure update.

     

    Also, the new version of simplified, firewall-less desktop computer protection (the "F-Secure Anti-Virus 10.00 for Windows Workstatons" product) has now been released to manufacturing.

     

    Both FSCS and FSAV-WKS versions 10.00 are now usable on all of: Win 8 RTM / Win7 SP1 / Vista SP2 / WinXP SP3.
