f-secure firewall not seen by windows security center
Dear all,
I have the following problem. Windows action center says that fsecure firewall is switched off. When you switch it on, the fsecure program is launched, indicating that the firewall is on, and nothing happens any further.
I reinstalled fsecure, but that did not help. Before blaming Windows, I wish to tell that I did restart windows security center, after which anti-virus and anti-spyware were no longer detected either. Now you might say that windows security center should have restarted fsecure as well, but spybot s&d did restart along with windows security center.

Hello,
You are posting in the wrong section of the forum, because FSC 9.32 is a business security purpose product, not made for home security.
Otherwise, F-Secure 9.32 is quite old, does not make much sense to re-install. You should remove it and install FSCS or FSAV-WKS version 10.00 build 415 to get the latest protection tricks from the DeepGuard-4 module.
(If you are currently using F-Secure 9.32 in standalone mode, then the centrally-managed-only version 10.00 is probably not a suitable upgrade for you. In that case, the recommended upgrade path for better protection is the standlone mode F-Secure 2013 product or the FSAV PSB 9.30 product, which has web-based central management.)
Kind regards: Tamas Feher, Hungary.

Dear all,
I went back to a somewhat less recent system restore point of Windows. But that resulted in that the WIFI card did not work any more. Furthermore, the F-Secure problem persisted. Actually, I do not like Windows system restore very much, because it makes your system settings having a state that does not correspond with the actual situation. Any way, I backed up my data and reinstalled the whole harddisk after that I got the problem with my WIFI card besides that with F-Secure. So the problem is solved by now.
I use F-Secure at home, with the approval of company, which is the licence holder.
Thanks for your replies,
brac37
