Deleting old/temporary files from F-secure folder?

Hi,

What files can I safely delete from the F-secure folder on a Windows 2003 server with Antivirus for Servers 9.00 installed? The folder is about 850 MB and I need to clean it up and keep only necessary files due to lack of space.

Only 2 folders called Anti-virus and FSAUA is "responsible" for approx 700 of these MB, can I delete old files not in use, cached files e.g from these folders?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

JC

    Hello,

What you should get rid of, is "F-Secure Antivirus for Servers 9.00". That one is a really old product and cannot afford much protection against the latest threats!

The "F-Secure File and Terminal Services Security 10.00" is a new product, but still supports Windows 2003. The "F-Secure E-mail and Server Security 10.00" is a new product, but still supports Windows 2003 + Exchange 2003. Please use those to enjoy good defence!

If you still have high HDD consumption with those products, download, unpack and run this tool:

    ftp://ftp.f-secure.com/support/tools/FSAUA-Reset/fsaua-reset.zip
