Is it possible to move Tempory files ?
Hello,
Could you tell if it possible to move the localisation of the tempory file which are now in the c:\windows\temp ? We have a server with poor space disk and now (nothing changed) since two days the tempory directory is taken about 800 MB?
Thanks in advance

Hello gvaccarello,
We do not have any setting to change the location where the temporary files of our software are being stored.
However from the Operating Systems side you should be able to control what is the default folder to store temporary information to. This is something Microsoft should be able to help you with.

If you run the aua-reset tool with the /i /v command line switches, it will also cleanse the wuindows temp directory tree.
ftp://ftp.f-secure.com/support/tools/FSAUA-Reset/fsaua-reset.zip
Maybe run this aua-reset tool as a scheduled job every weekend or so?
Furthermore, if you do not use Linux computers in your network or do not use F-Secure protection on any of your Linux computers, it may be possible to discard some large, penguin-specific databases and ease the storage space requirements on the FSPM server. For that, there is a need to edit a config file. (It is an expert option, cannot take responsibility for the results!)
