Task Scheduler properties
Both the Software Updater and Scheduled Scanning are stored as scheduled tasks based on the choices made in the Policy Manager, but there's certain need to be able to change the tasks properties directly from the Policy Manager.
Is is somehow possible to create/modify these tasks with "Run as soon as possible after a scheduled start is missed" set to true?
Other useful settings would be "Wake the computer to run this task".
It's not really sensible to have to manually change these settings on every client.

Hello Sandberg,
Unfortunately, this functionality is not supported in current corporate products. We'll try to add this possibilities in the next releases.

I am curious if the feature "Wake the computer to run this task" was added to the latest version of the PMC 11.10?
Lack of this is a huge inconvenience.
With Windows XP missed scheduled tasks (like nightly full scan) were simply ignored, while Windows 7 execute scheduled taks as soon as the user logs in (or wake up system from sleep state/hibernation).
This is not acceptable since the fssm32.exe, when active, makes even systems with 4 cores unusable.
User has 2 options1. to kill the process, or 2. reboot the PC.

Hello Andrzej,
Unfortunately, this feature wasn't implemented in CS 11.50/ESS 10.50/PM 11.10 products.

Vad,
In that case what would be your recommendation beside disabling scheduled scans?
Unfortunately, majority of infection end up hiden in the Recycler (the meanest we experienced was the Trojan.Agent.AURC (virus)0 or burried in the browsers caches, subfolders of ...\Local Settings\temp\ or in ..\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache, etc. It is not the point that most might be inactive or dormant. Those files are not detected and stoped through Real Time Scanner and the only way to track them down is to run a scheduled scan.
I brought to F-secure support multiple times that other AV programs (e.g. Kaspersky) allow throtling leaving some resources to the system, while F-Secure insits on cripling the system as long as the manual/scheduled scan is active.

Andrzej,
We have a plan to improve the situation with manual/scheduled scan load on the system. Hopefully we'll have a solution next year.
Meanwhile, you can try to use Scheduled task with "Generic" Task Type parameter, which allows to tune scan task so that it will scan only specific folder(s). This can reduce the system load time. There are several topics in community with details how this could be done. For example:
