Install PM10 on different drive.

Is it possible to install PM10 on a different drive other than C:?

Hi R4gman,
Yes it's possible, but if you already have any F-Secure product installed on your machine it will be installed in the same path. If you do, the easiest way is to remove any existing F-Secure product from your machine (don't forget to backup the H2DB folder if you already use PM, please see PM guide) and to reinstall with the desired path.
If you need to remove any FS product, here is also an advanced procedure if needed:

Hi,
what is the idea in instaling PM in a different drive?

I have multiple FSPM servers, all on VMs, C: is only 15GB in size.
Install the FSPM10 on C: fills it after a week or so.
But the solution given above really helped.

Hi,
we recommend >25 GB for PMS servers if they run PMS dedicated. folder FSAUS.PM/data can grow to almost 10 GB!
Adding an additional drive for PMS is a solution, but increasing the sapce for C: is the better, as then you have only to care for one VHD.
BTW: Do not forget to at least add two CPU to each PMS VM, one is not enough!

Hehe, I noticed that CPU usage.
I'm in the proccess of speaking to the VM guys for some extra CPU.

they do not need to be dedicated to this vm only, but when new signatures get imported AUS consumes all power of one CPU, and PMS might break the H2DB!
Keep in mind that even the min requiremets request a pentium with hyperthreading...
