PSB WKS 10 supported with Neighbourcast and Policy Manager Proxy?

Dear F-Secure,

 

Do you support the use of  "Neighborcast" and "Policy Manager Proxy" features for FSAV PSB 10 workstation computers? The aim would be to reduce virus recognition signature datebase update traffic on the WAN / access to public net links.

 

Note: In F-Secure Business Suite customer (FSPM + FSAVCS) the combined use of  Policy Manager Proxies and Neighbourcast is really efficient in reducing the WAN link utilization.

    Dear Tamas,

     

    Neighborcast options should indeed work, and is supported, with PSB10 for Workstations. This feature should already help to reduce the bandwidth usage in a significant manner.

     

    However "Policy manager Proxy" requires a Policy Manager installation and therefore is not supported for use with PSB installations.
