F-Secure Management Agent is not responding error after reinstall

Hello, one of our clients has a Server 2003 server which we had F-Secure Server running on. For the past few months I've been receiving alerts stating that the definitions are outdated. When I logged onto the server I could not get the software to recognize that it had downloaded the latest updates even though I could see in the updates log that it had downloaded updates each day. So I unistall F-Secure and then reinstall, reboot the server, server didn't come back for a currently unknown reason, resolved that issue, got the server up running but now I receive the follow message below whenever logging into the Web Portal. Any thoughts?

"F-Secure Management Agent is not responding.
F-Secure Web Console cannot determine the status of products or show product settings/statistics.
Please check the status of FSMA service."

Thanks.

    Hello Mshelburne1993,

Could you confirm that the Server is having the latest service pack installed?

Also could you provide the exact version of the F-secure product you are using?

Finally can you precise the actual status of the FSMA service? Is it running(net start)? Did you try to restart it?

    Thank you.

The OS is running Windows server 2003 SP2.

F-Secure® PSB E-mail and Server Security
    Version 10.00 build 152

The FSMA service has started and is set to auto. I have stopped and started the service a few times as well.

Once I open up the portal I login, it redirects the page and i get the erro I previously mentioned, if I wait a minute or so it'll redirect again and take me to the portal but prompt me for the license key which I already put in prior but I put it in again and states that it has already been used. I click close the next time around it lets me bypass the license menu and takes me to the portal but everything is greyed out and if I click on one of the menu items it takes me back to the error and the cycle begins again.

I also have a certificate error when contacting the portal. Should I install the certificate?

    Hello mshelburne1993,

    Please, try the following:

    1. Install the certificate. You can find the installation instructions in release notes.

    2. Try to restart the following services one by one to fix WebUI access issue:

        1. FSMA

        2. FSGKHS

        3. F-Secure WebUI Daemon

    3. Check, that you have a valid subscription. In the WebUI you can find it on General->Status page. You can also check it on your PSB Portal. Prompting for the license key after login to WebUI normally happens in case if something is wrong with your subscription.

New subscription key can be entered in WebUI or from Windows Start menu: F-Secure PSB Server Security -> Enter new subscription key.

If this doesn't solve your problems, please contact support. We'll need to investigate support information collected from your server by Support Tool.

    Best regards,

    Vad
