Migrate FSPMS to another Linux box
I wish to upgrade FSPMS from 10.40 to 11.5x but on the way I want to install it to another, newer Linux box. So, basically a server replacement.
It's clear about migrating the keys, but how do I migrate the domains and all the client settings from the old server to the new one?

Hello Clouseau,
Version 10.40 is already the latest version of Policy Manager on Linux.
Version 11.X are currently only available for Windows so you can't upgrade linux installations to these versions. However in order to migrate information between Linux Policy Manager, proceed as follow:
-Stop the Policy Manager Server daemon
# /etc/init.d/fspms stop
-Backup the folder /var/opt/f-secure/fspms/data/h2db
-Start the fspms daemon
# /etc/init.d/fpsms start
To restore the data, copy the previously backed up folder contents into /var/opt/f-secure/fspms/data/h2db folder
-Start the Policy Manager Server daemon
# /etc/init.d/fspms start6 -
Yes You're right, I always get confuse between the server and client version.
Besides that,
Thank You very much, all worked like a charm!
