Crash detected in Logfile.log

Hi,

 

Pls advice on troubleshooting the below error message. The application log in event viewer (Win XP) is full of these error messages. I´m running FSCS 9.01 on the affected client.

 

In PMC 9 everything looks fine, connected recently and having latest policy.

 

EDIT: Connected today but virus defs are 3 days old, seems like it´s not updating either.

 

Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, hotfixes 7 + 8 are installed. I will try to upgrade. Just in case if I should get the same error message after upgrade, could you please tell me, if any, some common reasons as to why this happens?

assuming that harware is well equipped I have no idea!

Hi,

 

Turns out there was a problem with the HDD. Could not see the "usual HDD-error" messages in event viewer but eventually found some "application popup" messages that pointed us in the right direction.
