F-Secure Client Security 11.51

Hallo Everyone,

I have a question regarding F-Secure.

I have F-Secure Policy Manager 11.20 running on my server, and i have F-Secure 11.51 running on my Windows 7 clients.

The probleem now is, that F-Secure is scanning everything that a user is doing. I mean literlly everything, and we dont want that in our organization.

Sample, like when a user is installing an application, it will take a lot longer until the application is finshed installing. because F-Secure is scanning everything. When i unload F-Secure components the installation will go fater.

Where can i ajust setting like that?

Or how can i set the F-Secure on medium instead of high.

Thanks you for your replay, that mad clear to me now.

Other question, When F-Secure starts manual scanning (I programed it, that it will start every Monday around 12 o’clock) But then, all the laptop's CPU go on 100% load. Can I adjust that so it will only take like 30% of the CPU power?

Like I said, when the manual scanning starts almost none of my users can work on the laptop until the scanning process has finished, because it’s using all the laptop resources.

Can I adjust that somewhere?

Hello Karlo.

Sorry for the late relpy.

There is no levels in security that you can set on the realtime scanning. You can make exclusions to folders if you for example have issues running a software. But this is recommended to only do as a last resort solution as you then dont have protection on files in that excluded folder.

To add an application as allowed from Policy manager you can go to the settings tab in Anti-virus mode and press the button Application control. Under the "Unknown application reported by hosts" you can select the application and then press the button Create rules(s).
