Hi,

We sometimes (right now) receive a large number (10.000 and more) of emails from the Policy Manager.

Content:

Date: 2014-08-11  12:30:50+02:00

Host: server.domain.com (ip here) Computer name: server User account: SYSTEM

Product: F-Secure Anti-Virus (OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.2213.12)

Severity: error (3)

Message: Scanning of \DEVICE\HARDDISKVOLUME2\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\DELL\SYSMGT\OMSA\INI\DCSDST32.INI was aborted due to exceeded scanning time limit. The file may be in use or reading it was too slow (e.g. network connection was under stress).

Any suggestions? This is a very annoying "feature".

Thanks in advance.

Tim

    Hi,

You can configure  and adjust alerts by editing the Alert forwarding table, which is located under F-Secure Management Agent > Settings > Alerting > Alert Forwarding.

For more details refer to the admin guide page 43.
