Installation problem (admin.pub)
Good afternoon, fellas.
I'm trying to install F-Secure Client Security in my workstations, but in the part where I must search for the "admin.pub", the program can't seem to be able to select that file, it tells me it doesn't exist, as You can see in the picture:
What am I doing wrong?
PS: I'm working with Windows 7 Ultimate x86
Many thanks in advance.

Hello @GabriellPorto ,
Can you make sure that the Share is reachable from the workstation directly in the windows explorer?
PS: I moved your post to a more relevant board.

Hello Gabriell,
What happens if you have admin.pub on a local drive? Does it work in that case?
BTW, what version of Client Security do you have? This way of installation is not supported any more (starting from version 10.00). I would recommend you to export MSI package from PM for local installations.
Best regards,
Vad

Greetins, @Vad , You mean just copy the admin.pub to the desktop of the terminal and try to run it?
The version I'm trying to install is the 11.51.
And what do You mean export the MSI package from the PM?

Once you have imported the installation Package for Client Security 11.51 (.jar) in your Policy Manager in the installation tab, you should be able export the installation package with .msi format.

Are you saying it will only works if I have the PM installed?
A few months ago I've installed it in one of my servers, and it killed my network, slow access to files, programs and so...
I have one F-Secure E-mail and Server Security running on one server without the PM installed.
Please, help me, the licenses of the current Anti Virus of the workstations it's about to expire.

You do not need to have Policy Manager installed on every machine, but an instance of PM should be managing every installation you make on your network. The file Admin.pub is part of a key pair created when installing Policy Manager.
Stand alone installation for workstation products(AV4WKS and Client Security) are, as Vad mentioned, not supported anymore. They are however still possible on servers.
Policy Manager (if the minimum requirements are matched) shouldn't cripple the machine it is installed on or your network.

Gabriell, you may also think about moving to PSB for Workstations product. It doesn't require Policy Manager and is managed from the cloud.
More infromation about PSB can be found here:
