Hi,

I just want to know if its possible create a Client Security MSI package, where already have the last package vaccine inside this MSI. I have a customer where have a really bad link and want to install the F-Secure anti-virus (for this install, he create MSI and put in a PenDrive. He is using this pen drive to install Client Security) , but after installed, the anti-virus start consume all his link because of the first package of vaccines. He is using Policy Manager and imported the JAR Client Security 11.60.

Hava a way to include the http://download.f-secure.com/latest/fsdbupdate9.exe inside the Client Security MSI created by Policy Manager?

Thanks,

    Hi Roberto,

There is currently no supported way to include the latest virus definitions inside the MSI installation package.

However if the machines on which you install Client Security are not, directly after installation, connected to any update source(Internet and our Update Server  or Policy Manager), you should be able to simply run the fsdbupdate then.

Once all the updates are in place,  you can reconnect the clients safely without consuming all the bandwidth.
