Software Updater doesn't install on clients

Hi all,

 

We're using Client Security Premium 11.6 on Win7 x64

 

Looking at the client UI - Settings->Other settings->Downloads shows everything "Installed" apart from "F-Secure Software Updater 2014-10-31_01" whica says "Will try again". The logfile says:

 

[ 2780]Fri Oct 31 15:44:26 2014(3):  Installation of 'F-Secure Software Updater 2014-10-31_01' : Failed, will retry

 

What does it take to get it to "try again"? A reboot of the client doesn't seem to be enough.

Hello Alecw,

 

The retry for the installation is automatic and no user action should be necessary.

 

From the user interface, you should be able to try installing the update again by selecting the failing update and clicking on the "Install" button.

 

If the problem persists on the long run, please open a support ticket so that we can investigate the issue better.
