Have any way to manager the application control in PSB Simple Mode Profile Editor?

I have a customer where need use the application control, but the Profile Editor Full Mode is not avaible to the customer, because the Profile Edit in full mode is not avaible to final customer.

He need block some softwares (include P2P) in the application control. Have a way to workaround this issue?

Thanks,

    Hello,

I think you can request access, if you write an e-mail to F-Secure support and explain the situation. They generally respond fast.

    Hi

I'm end user of PSB and I olso don't have "Profile Editor Full Mode", I'm wondering why it's hidden?

Without application control window I've lost control in my network.

    Hi,

We have received requests from other customers to bring Application Control settings to the Simple Profile Editor and I will check with the product management and development teams if and when this is going to be available in PSB. I will post update here as soon as I get more details.

Have you considered to use DeepGuard exclusions to block P2P applications? You would need to know SHA1 hashsums of applications to block, though.

    Thanks for answer,

DeepGuard workaround is tomuch problematic because I would have to dolnload meny clients of p2p network and every client has many versions, beside it's not about only p2p but also TeamViewer, games and other apps.

    Best Regards

Still nothing is changed - no advaced view in simple mode.

BTW. I wonder what will happen if I turn off application control, will every app can access internet or just those which met firewall rules?

Only those which met firewall rules.
