Software Updater on PM

Hi,

i'm refering to this thread:

Am i the only one who think that this is a quite bad solution that every client downloads the updates by themself ? It would be much better when the PM download the packages and push it to the clients.

A Technican of F-Secure told me a Year ago that they work on this case but nothing new till now....

any Updates ?

Copyright, maybe. The patches for 3rd party software are not made by F-Secure Corp. and maybe the makers of those software could sue F-Secure, if the PM acted as a man-in-the-middle for patch delivery?

It would be, not only for me, when i read the posts a big one because we don't have that big Internet Connection here.

I can't understand why you don't wan't to implement such an easy thing.....

Unfortunately we don't have any plans currently in that direction.

The only workaround to minimize the traffic is web proxies cache.
