Restart after every update by Software Update

Hi, on my fresh installtion of Security Premium, after every sofwtare update, the client computer must restart.

There's so a lot of restarts required after selected multiple software update.

Is it a way to disable restart after every software update ?

You can choose if the software updater will restart automaticaly or ask to user to restart.

Oprtion 1: User decision.

Option 2: Force restart

Verify in your Policy Manager if not configured to force restart after update.

Hello JCC,

On server platforms Software Updater doesn't require restart. It is notifying in PMC and WebUI, that restart is required to complete the installation of software updates.But it's up to administrator to decide, when to do it.

The internal logic of Software Updater detects if restart is requested or not by update installer to complete the installation of update. If you think that restart is requested incorrectly for some updates, please, contact support.
