F-Secure unaesthetic scaling.

Dear Sirs,

Imagine there is a computer with a Full-HD screen (1920x1080), running Windows 81. The user sets 150% character enlargement in the OS, so he can easily read text, while the full resolution of the LCD screen remains available for graphics use. (This is supposed to be a better solution then degrading screen res to 1600x900 HD+ or 1366 pixel HD-ready.)

Installing FSAV PSB 10.50 on such a computer results in an unpleast experience. When clicking the F-Secure tray icon, the first local GUI window pops up in native full-HD, a very small box which totally sharp but minusclue, ant-sized text inside.

Clicking the Settings button there brings up the F-Secure advanced local GUI, which appears in an enlarged window size, but its contents (both graphic and textual items) appear blurry, which makes them hard to read, despite the zoomed up size.

I wonder if F-Secure products could be made more friendly towards the built-in text scaling support found in modern Windows OS? Supposedly Windows 10 will have all-encompassing support for vector based font scaling, so people can enjoy large and smooth letters, even on native Full-HD and 4K pixel LCD screens.

Thanks for your kind attention, Yours Sincerely:

Tamas Feher, 2F 2000 Kft., Hungary.
