Hello,

I updated my antivirus´s database and I need to confirm it (for showing to the client, and say look here it´s updated), is there any file or executable for checking the last update?

In windows I don´t have this problem because there is a GUI.

But in RedHat, how can I do this? It´s the first time I use this antivirus in RHEL...and i don´t usually use RHEL

Thanks four your answers!

    Hello,

On Windows you can use this command line, to see the status of scan engines and their signature databases:

    c:\Program Files (x86)\F-Secure\Anti-Virus\fsav.exe /version

    Virus scan controllers:
    F-Secure Aquarius: 11.00.01, 2015-09-15
    F-Secure Hydra: 5.14.151, 2015-09-15
    ... blahblah ...

If there is a command-line scanner in your Linux installation, maybe it also supports some switch for F-Secure status display?

    Best Regards: Tamas Feher, Hungary.
