Client Security Premium - Software Updater.
Hello,
I have recently been tasked with testing some 3rd party Patch Management software.
Since we already have F-Secure Client Security, the upgrade to Premium is an easy choice/solution,
and a good place to start.
I have acquired som trial keys for premium, and have been trying to update different java installations, without luck..
In the PMC, under Software Updates, i rightclick the update for java "Java 7 Update 79 Critical Patch Update (CPU)" and select install. After a while the status shows "Could not download update (01-10-15 08:34)"
On the clientside i have tried to interpret the fssua.log
The section of log below is the error i get every time.
Preparing to download 'http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=106369' to 'C:\ProgramData\F-Secure\FSOFTUPD\deploy\jre-7u79-windows-x64.exe'...

Hello Simon,
For some reason Software Updater wasn't able to reach the java download server.
Please, try to tune Software Updater communication settings in Policy Manager Console:
Note that patches are downloaded on the client machine, so it should have access to links mentioned in fssua.log.
If tuning of Software Updater communication settings will not help, please, contact support.
Best regards,
Vad

Hi again,
Sorry for the late response but i have been very busy.
I had looked at the communication settings and couldn't really figure out what was wrong.
We do indeed use a Proxy, and followed the examples show in the PMC, but to no avail.
As a last attempt i tried setting the proxy port to :80 and that worked. Given the examples show in the PMC i didn't think that was necessary.
Well.. It worked and i'm happy. Thanks for replying.
Regards
