Can't change update source by modifying fsaua.cfg
Hi,
Platform:Windows server 2008 R2 standard
Software: Policy Manager 11.31
I'm the local IT of a branch office, our company has a central server at head office, and all the branches' PM server are supposed to download the updates from there instead of going to internet.
It has been working fine then stopped a couple months ago, probably when I upgraded the PM version to 11.31; I have to manually download the DB updates from the F-secure website since then.
Our internal document showed that to configure the update source, the only thing needed to be done is to add:
update_servers=http://x.x.x.x:xx in fsaus.cfg file.
However I have re-installed the software, edited the said configuration file, restarted the automatic update agent service (actually I have restarted all the F-secure services) to be sure.
And the agent still goes to the official F-secure website (checked both in the log and in 'update source' of the agent program).
Is there some other settings I need to change to modify the update source?
Thanks,
Yang

Hello Yang,
This kind of set-up is definitely not standard. Please open a support ticket with fsdiag of the machine involved so that we can review the settings.
