Mobile Security and Freedome complement but not replace each other. Mobile Security provides Application Privacy (aka App Permissions) and Call Blocker (aka Safe Contacts) features, which are not available in Freedome. What comes to the AV functionality, Freedome's App Security relies on F-Secure Security Cloud and can't scan applications without Internet connection. Unlike Freedome, Mobile Security doesn't require internet connection for AV scanning (however, the detection gets significantly better when leveraging F-Secure Security Cloud). In addition, Mobile Security is capable to boot scan and inspect files on internal and external storage.
