Web Console for Exchange server

Hi,

I installed F-Secure Emaial and Server Security version 11 on a new Exchange server Server running 2010.  The install finished ok but afterwards, when opening the console I received an error saying this page can't be displayed.

There isn't much online about it other than addig the local IP address of the server to a config file which I have done, and adding the site to IE trusted sites which i have also done.  I still can't access the console.

At the moment only the Web Daemon service is started.  DO all F-Secure service need to be started for the console to open?  Also the server is running Windows Server 2012, not 2012 R2 as this doesn't work with Exchange 2010.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

    Hello RPEvans,

You are most likely facing the known issue described in this thread.

Please try to apply the Hotfix available on the product pageF-Secure Web User Interface 1.50 Hotfix 100

If that doesn't help, could you share a screenshot of the error observed when you try to open the web-console?

    Dear Ben,

It is a shame that F-Secure Corp. is forcing new customers to install product plus various post-install hotfixes, rather than issuing a newly built installer package which would integrate those various hotfixes!

The FSAV (E)SS 11.01 build 157 product install package was published on 2014. August 25., over 1.5 years ago but hasn't been touched since.

At the very least, FSC Corp. should now publish a 11.02 "Maintenance Release" edition, even if it is currently not possible to allocate software development resources towards releasing a brand new FSAV (E)SS 12 version, equipped with dedicated anti-ransomware features and other enhancements.

    Yours Sincerely: Tamas Feher, Hungary.

    Hi there,

I applied the hotfix but still no luck - the Web Console didn't open.

After that I performed a reinstallation of the software and rebooted  the Exchange server.  Again the console didn't open!

Is there anything else I can do to get this working?

    Thanks,

    Ross

Please, make sure that you start the hotfix installation using administrative account.

If this will not solve your problem, please, contact support.
