Software Updater databases are XXX days old, turn off alert or update in PMC?
Hi,
Since upgrading PMC an alert is sent which informs me that the 'Software Updater databases are xxx days old'. We dont intend to use the Software Updater but was wondering how to either turn off the alert or download the latest Software Updater databases?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
There is a tool named "FS-AUA-Reset" on F-Secure's FTP site, which could be downloaded and run with sysadmin rights on the affected computer. It will evaporate all the stored files in F-Secure Automatic Updates module and force a re-download of the entire set (about 220-300MB network traffic). This step usually corrects the problem. Please see:

Hi,
I think alsimmo means the warning messages which sends PMS to fulfilled mail. If yes, the AUA rest tool does not help with it. I am affraid but those messages can be disabled or enabled only. So, all or nothing. There is no way how to disable the SW updater warnings only yet.

Hi Jachym,
Yes, thats correct. All I want to do is to turn off the Software Update alert as it servces no purpose for us. I didn't think that there would be option but just wanted confirmation.
Thanks,
