"RPC Server unavailable" if application control is turned off

Hi,

we're using the F-Secure Internet Shield 6.40 and are facing the problem that we can't use commands like "tasklist /S \\<Computername>" (W7 + W10), as we're getting the error "The RPC server is unavailable".

I already created a new policy domain and found the setting that is causing this: "Application blocking active" (i don't know if this is exactly the english name as we're running a german version).

As soon as this is turned _off_, i get the RPC-error, but the help states that it won't block anything if it's turned off, if it's turned on, everything is working as expected.

Is anyone else facing this problem or does anyone know how to solve this?

Every hint is very appreciated.

Greetings from germany,

coach

    Hello,

What is the software you are using, FSAV CS or FSAV PSB or FSIS 2016?

My FSAV PSB 12.01 has "F-Secure Internet Shield 7.50" in it.

    Yours Sincerely: Tamas Feher, Hungary.
