Hello,

I have a problem with policy manager (ver 12.20) nad software updates.

1 - double  the same upgrades on upgrade list (example  CVE ID) - see  screenshot,

2 - Windows 7 Professional 64 bit (F-Secure Client Security Premium) 12.20 -> Windows Update (system) does not show any updates (info : Any important updates are available) but F-secure Policy manager shows 102 updates (critical and important) to install.

My software reseller cannot  help mi with this problem. Any idea what can I do ?

Best regards

    Hello,

The update lists offered by Microsoft Update / WSUS and F-Secure Software Updater (SWUP) can be slightly different, because F-Secure licences the patch search logic and database from an independent 3rd party vendor. F-Secure says their checks are more accurate than Microsoft's own!

On the other hand a difference of 102 updates seems excessive. Maybe the F-Secure patch search results wants to say these pathces are already in place but became ineffective and need to be re-installed, due to supercede conflicts for example?
