In the middle of 2016 there was info about all new Policy Manager Proxy for Linux systems, new as CentOS7.x or SUSE13.

Is there any progres?

Some features can you tell Us?

Or maybe Proxy functions are migrated to PolicyManager Server ???

    Hello,

The "Policy Manager Proxy" is not much used nowadays. As far as I heard, many partners use an unconfigured instance of the full "Policy Manager Server" instead, to provide the same functionality.

The newest "F-Secure Policy Manager 12.21 on Linux" centralized management suite supports "Proxying Software Updater updates" functionality and is available on CentOS 7 32/64-bit or openSUSE 13.2 32/64-bit. See more here:

    Hello

    Thanx for reply

    I'm using new FSPM too.

Proxy cache for SoftwareUpdater is very nice thing, but in my structure with many remote offices it is no usefull becouse I've few CentOS7 with FSPM configured as AUA for local comuters.

In configuration FSSoftwareUpdater I can select comunication as: If possible/Never/Always - but if my local FSPM (CentOS) does not manage of those PC then I cant use it for download software updates
