Problems with F-Secure Policy Manager trial
Hi all,
I am currently evaluating F-Secure Policy Manager and Client Security (both Linux).
I have successfully installed both on separate virtual machines (VirtualBox), but I have not been able to import the Linux client using Policy Manager.
Are there restrictions in place that removes the "import new host" feature in Policy Manager?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Setup:
- Both are virtual machines, where one acts as the client (running client security), the other as the server (policy manager)
- Both have 2 network adapters each: one for NAT (Internet connection), the other for the internal network
- Both are on the same internal network (192.168.1.x/24)
- Both are running Ubuntu 16.04
I have done the following:
1. Both virtual machines are able to ping, SSH each other.
2. Firewall has been disabled for both machines
3. A packet capture shows that the client machine is attempting a TCP SYN to the server, so I believe the client machine has been set up correctly.
Netstat capture of Policy Manager
wireshark capture of client, after fsav-config has been run
Thank you!

Regarding the wireshark capture:
192....17: Client
192....16: Server

Hello,
What does the F-Secure Policy Manager Status Monitor tool show?
Have you been able to log in to the Policy Manager Console's GUI?
Have you been able to import the mini .JAR package of "F-Secure Linux Security 11.10 build 68" package in the PM Console?
Best Regards: Tamas Feher, Hungary.
