Hi There,

My customer has change Public IP address of PM without informing those remote Client Security. Now all remote client not be able to communicate to PM (MSI Installer created is uses IP Address instead qualified domain name). Is there any solution either at Client Security or PM (already did at PM change to new IP, but client failed to fetch new policy that being distributed) to change to new IP without have to re-install the client Security?

Thanks

Rgds

    1) before distributing the new policy activate the small lock (final) for the new address.

    2) distribute as before.

    3) for each remote client

      a) in PMC go to the client, right click and "export base policy file"

      b) transfer/send/provide the exported file to the remote user
      c) in Client Security/Tasks/Central Management select "manually import policy file ")

    4) be happy

(no, there is no option to generate a single BPF for all).

    Hello Harta,

As an alternative solution support can provide you a tool, which creates special hotfix for clients with new address of PM. You will still need to install this hotfix on every affected client manually.

    Best regards,

    Vad
