PROBLEM INSTALLING FSPMS [MANAGER SERVER] in LINUX REDHAT 6.1
PROBLEM INSTALLING FSPMS [MANAGER SERVER]
I´m intalling in a RED HAT 6.1 server the following files
fspmaua-9.01.3-1.x86_64.rpm
fspms-12.31.79713_x86_64.rpm
The first one without problem you can see the status oK
[root@ ]# /etc/init.d/fsaua status
Checking F-Secure Automatic Update Agent: [ OK ]
The second one :
[root@ ]# rpm -i fspms-12.31.79713_x86_64.rpm
error: %pre(f-secure-policy-manager-server-12.10.76372-1.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 6
error: install: %pre scriptlet failed (2), skipping f-secure-policy-manager-server-12.10.76372-1
so I use this command line to install it:
[root@ ]# rpm -i –-noscripts fspms-12.31.79713_x86_64.rpm
After this I execute /opt/f-secure/fspms/bin/fspms-config with the following result
The configuration is now complete.
Copying startup script
Creating configuration file
Removing fsaua startup from boot scripts
Installing default policy file
FSAUA is now configured, you may now start it with:
/etc/init.d/fsaua start
chmod go+r /var/opt/f-secure/fsaua/run/fsaua_socket
chmod: cannot access `/var/opt/f-secure/fsaua/run/fsaua_socket': No such file or directory
chmod go+x /var/opt/f-secure/fsaua/run
chmod go+x /var/opt/f-secure/fsaua
chmod go+x /var/opt/f-secure
chmod go+x /var/opt
chmod go+x /var
chmod go+r /etc/opt/f-secure/fsaua/fsaua_config
chmod go+x /etc/opt/f-secure/fsaua
chmod go+x /etc/opt/f-secure
chmod go+x /etc/opt
chmod go+x /etc
Restarting AUA... ok
Restarting AUA... ok
Testing AUA connectivity...
ERROR: Unable connect to AUA server. Please make sure that AUA server is running.
Restart server if necessary: '/etc/init.d/fsaua restart'
Unable to continue. Exiting...
What can I do? Any ideas?
Thank you very much in advance. I attached the fsdiag file

Hi Marisol,
Looks like this might need further investigation with our support team; best way is to contact support with the diagnostic report. They will check the fsdiag and do further troubleshooting.

Why do you try to install 12.31?
12.40 is RTM?anyhow, you should take a backup of the H2DB, then cleanly uninstall AUA and PMS12.10. reboot and retry with a clean 64-bit installation. After that restore the H2DB.
