PMC Won't Start Upon Windows Updates?
We've just encountered an issue with our Policy Manager Console just after installing the latest Windows Updates. We're assuming this is not coincidence.
The initial error when logging in is:
Cannot save F-Secure Policy Manager Console properties. Check permissions of the lib\Administrator.properties file.
A subsequent error reads:
Cannot connect to the server; couldn not access HTTP Invoker remote service at...
After some research, we've added Local Service permissions on this file/folder and all F-Secure folders but to no avail.
I know we're behind the times at version 11.x but haven't had any trouble until the timing of these Windows Updates. For various reasons we're not yet in a position to upgrade.
Appreciate any advice/insight.

Hello youngj,
Reinstallation of the Console should help to restore broken permissions.
Please, note, that if you have Policy Manager Server installed on the same machine, permissions for it could be broken as well, and in this case you will need to reinstall both components.
Best regards,
Vad
