Email firewall only for outside mails, how?

Hi

We have a email firewall rule that reject a message if it contains a zip/rar attachment.

I want this to only be used for outside communication. But I will still be possible to send email inside my

organization.

I have tried "Policy Routes" without any luck. So how can I fix this?

    Hi Christoffer,

I tried to get more information regarding your question and for this, "Outbound" policy route need to be updated (empty by default): add the IP addreses of the SMTP sender host into policy route (System > Policy Routes).

Once you have defined the policy route, edit the rule and use "Restrict processing to selected policy routes" and/or to "Disable processing for selected policy routes" option to include or exclude the rule for specific users or groups.

    Example:

Restrict processing to selected policy routes: outbound

Disable processing for selected policy routes: default_inbound
